Problem installing ARTiSAN Studio Uno v7.4 on an XP machine - Can anyone help?

ARTiSAN Studio Uno version 7.0 worked fine on this machine. Now I have installed v7.4, apparently successfully, but then ARTiSAN fails to load.
It leaves a Windows Application Event like this:

Event ID: 4099
Anyone got any ideas what's wrong / how to fix it?
