Where is the Artisan Studio Uno license?

* Downloaded ArtisanStudio7_0.msi.
* Installed using Standalone option.
* "Viewed" the artisan.lic file and its empty.
* When ran, the error was:

Do I need to install the patch file <Studio_Uno_70f.exe> first or request a new license (even though I'm just after Uno)?

If you ran the ArtisanStudio7_0.msi you have installed the Full Artisan Studio Product not Artisan Studio Uno. You will need to Uninstall it and rename the

\Program Files\ARTiSAN Software Tools\ARTiSAN License Manager

directory to something like:

\Program Files\ARTiSAN Software Tools\ARTiSAN License Manager old

Then run the ArtisanStudio7_0SetupUno.exe from the Uno download page the exe will check any dependences required for Studio and will also add the license file for Uno. It will then download and configure the msi to install as Artisan Studio Uno. As you have already had the full Studio product installed on the PC there may be an error message when you try to run Artisan Studio Uno if you do send a screenshot of the message to Artisan Technical Support and they will give you instructions of how to fix this, it's not a long process.

If I do not change anything in install configuration (components, pathes), it works fine. If I do, the product mutates into non-free version or installer does something wrong with licensing. There is some problem in installer.

I have the same problem. If I install with standard folders all is okay. If I install in a folder structure fitting my company needs I will be asked for a license file.

Is there anything ongoing?

Tested on three Workstations with XP Pro SP3 and Vista.

For me this is a showstopper.

Check with the license Manager the path value in Options, I assume this is not correct as you changed the default directory installation.

I´ve checked the licensemanager on my actual eval-machine for Studio Uno.
But this machine is installed with standard path.

Because I live in a region without a fast DSL, I use an UMTS Flat for Internet Access. But after 5 GB traffic a month the speed decreased from HSDPA to GPRS (arrrrrgh).
Because of this is at the moment a new installation and comparison a little bit ... .
